Unless you’ve been living in a remote log cabin in the woods somewhere, you’ve undoubtedly heard about Warner Bros. new video fighting game Multiversus.
The game is still early, but the first character roster has been revealed, and we think that the lineup is pretty good.
However, we feel that this lineup is, shall we say, a tad incomplete. The official Multiversus website says that more characters will be revealed soon, but in the meantime, we’d like to list some of the characters that we would add to the Multiversus roster. Let’s go, man, go!
So far, we’ve got Bugs Bunny and Taz, which is great, but there needs to be more. There are too many awesome Looney Tunes characters for there to only be 2 in this game.
And also, Yosemite Sam.
Here’s a kooky thought: why not add Granny as a wild card?
DETECTIVE COMICS (DC)
So far, we’ve got the Trinity (Superman, Batman and Wonder Woman) and Harley Quinn. Nice, but there should be more.
There is a rumor that Fred Flintstone may show up in Multiversus, and if that’s true, yeah, we get it. The Flintstones is iconic. But personally, if we’re going to have an H-B caveman in this game, We’d rather have Captain Caveman.
And hey, since Multiversus is technically a fighting game, why not throw in Hong Kong Phooey?
One more thing. I suspect that we’ll get more members of Mysteries Inc. somewhere down the line, but I think that it’s ridiculous that Shaggy and Velma made it to this game before Scooby Doo, so let’s rectify that.
So far, on the Cartoon Network side, we’ve got Finn and Jake from Adventure Time, Garnet and Steven Universe from, well, Steven Universe. Not bad, but there needs to be more.
I don’t think that I need to explain why the Powerpuff Girls should be in Multiversus. They were originally called The Whoop-Ass Girls. ‘Nuff said.
I also think that this game should have Dexter as a playable character.
I’d also add Mordecai and Rigby from Regular Show.
An obvious choice from Cartoon Network’s roster would be Ben Tennyson, aka Ben 10.
As those of you who visit us regularly know, we’ve recently changed this site’s name to Twin Images, and subsequently we’ve changed our URL from twinsanity.co to twinimages.blog. As of right now, clicking on the former will redirect you to the latter.
This brings us to what I’m about to type now: today we’ve opted not to renew the domain twinsanity.co, as we don’t need to be paying for 2 domains, especially since 1 of them belongs to an earlier moniker that we’ve stopped using a while ago.. As such, the URL twinsanity.co will expire on June 23, 2022. After that, you won’t be able to use that address to get to this site anymore; you’ll only be able to use twinimages.blog.
So from here on out, start using twinimages.blog as our only WordPress URL. twinsanity.co will only be active for another month; after June 23, you won’t be able to reach this site by typing the old domain anymore. Our Tumblr page is still twin-images.tumblr.com. That hasn’t changed.
P.S.: I know we’ve been on hiatus for quite a while now, bear with us. There’s just a lot going with us in real life right now, among those things are us preparing for the upcoming format change. Rebranding, switching mediums and upgrading is a lot of work! We are working on new stuff for this site, and it will be worth the wait. We promise.
For those who follow us (or wish to follow us) on Tumblr: you may have noticed that if you click on the Twinsanitycomedy URL, it takes you to nowhere. That’s because we’ve officially entered the first stage of our big rebrand, specifically to our site/brand/channel’s new name, which will be Twin Images. As such, the name of our Tumblr blog has changed; you can now find us at twin-images.tumblr.com. (Don’t forget the dash; I thought it looked weird as one word.) In time, this site’s name will be changed as well (UPDATE: as of this writing, we’ve just purchased the domain name twinimages.blog for the WordPress site); we changed it at Tumblr first because a) we’re a little more active on Tumblr right now and b) the site upgrade is going to require more work, as we’re planning to put different types of content on here, so the format on our WordPress site will definitely be changing more than just the name. The future blog posts (what few there are) will be more reminiscent of the micro-blog posts we do on Tumblr; the ‘big’ entries (your That’s Warner Bros., Retroville, The Couch et al) will take the form of videos or vlogs. When the new name is implemented here, for the first year you’ll be able to click on the current URL and it will redirect you to the new one; after that initial year, the old URL will expire and the new one will become the only URL.
When this site’s name changes to Twin Images, we won’t be going back to change the previous mentions of the old Twinsanity name in the previous blog posts, since as previously stated, we’ll be making different types of content here, so the Twinsanity blog posts belong to an earlier tradition. All of the Twinsanity blog posts will be archived so you can still visit them even after the format changes.
I’ll keep this post pinned for a while just in case anybody who follows us on Tumblr or wants to visit our Tumblr page might be confused (I thought that maybe I should’ve waited until the weekend was over to make the change, but here we are; we can’t put toothpaste back in the tube). Again, on Tumblr we are now located at twin-images.tumblr.com (don’t forget the dash). Here on WordPress you will be redirected to twinimages.blog (no dash).
